A Major Headache....and a Major Blessing!

Well, tonight I am really needing to get some homework done, since I will be going home next Wednesday for summer. There are very few days left to get everything done. Unfortunately, I wasn't very wise in my dinner choices at the psychology banquet Michael and I went to- lots of carbs and sugar! Which has left me with a major headache!!

But- I have sooo many things I am so excited to be thankful for despite my current headache and stress. The reason we went to the banquet was so that Michael could receive a school psychology scholarship! It was so nice to see him recognized, because it is really early in his psychology journey, but he definitely has alot of passion for the field. He is constantly talking my ear off about different things that relate to various theories he has learned in class. I love, love, love that he is my fiance and that we are so blessed to be able to have similar fields, so we share alot of the same knowledge, and can have meaningful conversations about what we have learned.

That transitions nicely into my other major blessing that I just continually am feeling more and more grateful for(and excited about). Being engaged!! Everything from Michael's proposal to the ring he picked out to our parent's and family's responses has been more than I could have asked for! It is very encouraging and reassuring to see how well he knows me. He knows exactly my style- in every aspect of life! I just can never thank God enough for how he has blessed me by placing Michael in my life! My excitement has been building and building, and my heart is about to overflow with joy.
